Title: Light Study
Post by: crazer on June 07, 2019, 06:49:59 AM
Hi guys,
Below are 2 renderings I made to do a little study for the lights. In both I applied a scattering cube to try to create a "glow effect" (I think it's called that). In the second render there is glass in front of the light. For light I used in both cases an area light with color gradient

I fixed some problem with the light and modify the glass material

That's cool!

Try a gem material instead of glass. Use an IOR of 1,7 and Abbe around 30. With caustics on it should glow like fire, combined with glow (image style).

Cheers
Marco
