Title: Sugar Coating node setup
Post by: nate on July 05, 2019, 09:10:16 AM
New to Keyshot! Looking for an appropriate node setup for a "sugar coating" candy look. Similar to a sour patch kid. Any help would be appreciated!!!

There are some texture & node setups that can mimic that look for sure. But maybe a simple particle system from a 3rd party 3D suit could do the job?
I've attached a 5 minutes quickie made with Blender, with a simple material setup in KS. The blue candy has a gentle displacement.
If you put a little bit more love into the materials, it could definitely work.
