Post by: kyng on July 15, 2019, 05:10:15 PM
Hello
I am trying to apply a texture to my model of a cylinder and I get this line vertically along the model . I apply it as bump . Is there a fix for this? can anyone help me on this ?

Hello Ky.

Just change the texture mapping type from "box map" to "cylinder". For details look into attached example

A way more cool is to work with procedural textures and displacement. It works fine in scenes with a hand full of parts.
