Title: The difference preview and rendering
Post by: AlexBBM on August 09, 2019, 02:16:14 AM
Hi all. Why is there such a difference in preview and rendering? The last bucket is not always calculated.

I guess that you used custom render settings. Try to use max samples or max time. These both render options will always give you the same results as in the viewport (which is using the same render algorithm)

The custom control can achieve results faster but depending on the options/parameters they might look different to the preview.

Hope that helps

Cheers

Not sure if this is the case, but I have noticed if you DO need to use Advance Control render settings, you should def try turning off the checkbox for 'Global Illumination Cache' , that has created similar artifacts for me in the past. (though, this might also be where the speed boost originates).

2MWo: it's worked!
2DMerz III: 'Global Illumination Cache' was off

Partially fixed the problem by importing with the parameter "Cached geometry"

Thx All.
