Title: Best File Type for Bump Map
Post by: Zander85 on September 30, 2011, 02:21:23 PM
Hey I was just wondering what the best file type is for a bump map in Keyshot? I used a jpeg file simply because when I tried to use a targa or a tiff the lines from the UV map showed up all over the model even when I deleted the layer containing the UVs in photoshop before exporting to keyshot.

You can always covert it to a normal map. That gives you even better control over the bump map.
