Title: exploded view animation
Post by: kyng on August 14, 2019, 10:16:59 AM
Hi,
I want to know if KS can let me select multiple objects as a group to show them as exploded view . I try to select a few parts to show them come off the main body as a group like sub-assembly and this sub-assembly will explode again into individual parts . I can't seem to select more than one part to group them as I go through the animation wizard. Any thoughts ?

Apply the translation to one of the parts. Then find that animation in your scene tree, right click and in the Animation flyout pick Copy Animation. Pick the next part that you want to have the same animation and right click - Animation - Paste Linked Animation. Any part you paste a linked animation to will be driven from the one translation in your animation timeline. I do wish KeyShot would let you pick multiple parts to apply the animation to in the wizard, it would simplify things a lot.
