Title: Getting a realistic Flocked material
Post by: ldichiara on August 19, 2019, 09:59:20 AM
Hi Guys -
I am trying to get a realistic flocked material like the one you would find on the end of a cosmetic lip gloss applicator. At the moment I know Keyshot (as a standalone app) doesn't really have a solid method to do this but was wondering if anyone had any good results they could share. What I have typically been doing is using velvet or a similar found texture and then applying a bump map to it as well; this yields "decent" results but I am looking for something a bit more solid. Hoping that in some of the upcoming releases there will be better ways to address this.
Thank you in advance.

L

So it should look like a sponge, similar to the library example, slightly modified?
