Title: Bubbles and displacement.
Post by: jhiker on August 29, 2019, 05:16:01 AM
Is it possible to have both 'bubbles' and 'displacement' acting on geometry?
See pic - I'd like to put some air  bubbles in the ice cubes.
Thanks.

No. But you can duplicate the geometry and use sphere flakes.
1. Duplicate the mesh
2. Change Displacement to Flakes
3. Choose Sphere as Flake Shape.

You can also bake the displacement first by adding the displacement, exporting the file as obj or fbx (everything that is visible will be exported, so hide all other models except the cubes if any), import the exported geometry, delete/hide the original cubes, add the bubbles to the newly imported mesh.
