Title: Camera path - timing/position relation.
Post by: djnoone on September 26, 2019, 08:46:41 AM
In usual camera move scenario, an animation of the path is consisting of two main elements:
- when the change is occurring
- what is the change

So, when i make a path animation i always gett this strange "drunk walktrough" result.
Usually, on the timeline of other products, there is a mark when the keyframe is.
Here i cannot move the keyframes independently (or can i...?), and also cannot predict the speed from one keyframe to another.

Is there a way to edit the speed od each segment of the path? Is there a way to adjust the ease for each segment?
Curve editor or anything similar?

Wait for KS9, it will come this fall and will have a simple curve editor.  ;)

Edit:
You can import camera animations from other software via Alembic or FBX. This is what I always do if I need advanced animations. Couldn't find any good KS internal solution for this. Maybe somebody else can give an advice.
