I worked this scene between spare times, got it done a few weeks ago and just found time to share with you :)
The smoke is a VDB texture and all is animated inside Keyshot.
Data setup - 3ds Max
Render solution - Keyshot 8
Post - Photoshop

Yeah that is the plan! To be honest I wasn't 100% sure to make this render my entry but you cheered me up and I really appreciate that!

Are you making your own VDBs or are they purchased assets? If you're making them, in what, Houdini? If you are buying them... where?
