Title: Damien Hirst X Vans Vault _ Texturing exercise
Post by: Kico on November 27, 2019, 04:16:52 PM
I saw this eye-catching design and thought it would be an interesting procedural workout so I gave it a shot .

In hindsight , all procedural might not be the best idea, but good practice anyway.

Thanks for having a look.

Hi Kico,

cool node setup! It is worth to share it on the KS Cloud.
Did you try to round up the spot edges by using the falloff parameter in the mesh nodes? The edges look a little bit to hard cut.

Thanks Eugen , I'll post this on the cloud.
About the fall-off, I did tried it but it ended up not the way I had imagined, that's why I think it's not the best to go all procedural.
