Title: Strange spikes in render
Post by: jamiep on December 13, 2019, 04:21:42 AM
Hi there,

Apologies for the watermarks, my keyshot license just ran out today.

I had these strange spikes that you can see above the wheel arch..

Any idea what these are, and how to get rid of them?

Strangely they disappear when you zoom up close and become more visible when you zoom out! This was made in SW (surface loft of the arch and mutual trim) and nothing appeared wrong until l imported into Keyshot and added materials/colour.

Thanks,

Jamie

The first thing I'd try would be to edit the normals of that part in KeyShot. It looks like it could be some flipped triangles.
