Title: sending file over via bridge from Zbrush resizes Keyshot
Post by: wayneheim on January 18, 2020, 07:46:40 PM
It's super pain in the butt. When I'm working in Zbrush and sending a file over to Keyshot..... the keyshot window resizes itself to full screen. I constantly have to keep resizing keyshot back down so I can have both on screen at the same time. It used to just update what was in the keyshot window. Hopefully this is an easy fix.

Pretty please!

Hi Wayne,

I can confirm the issue.
Next up is figuring out if it is a fix on the KeyShot or 'ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge' side. It seems the KeyShot scene resizes to the ZBrush document resolution.

Update:

We looked at this and apparently the current behavior is intended and has in fact been requested by Pixologic.
The behavior hasn't changed since KeyShot 5 either, by the way.

If you want this changed, then your best bet will be to yank Pixologic's chain.  :)
