Title: scattering medium
Post by: retroafro on January 22, 2020, 08:21:33 AM
Hi, so i have some lovely palm trees in which i used an a black/greyscale texture map in opacity to show only the green leaf and not the simplified original mesh.
All looked great until i added scattering medium over the scene to create atmosphere - i now have a harsh black silhouette of the simplified model

pls help :(

My guess is this is a limitation of the material. Some use-case where the two features/materials don't play well. If it can be reproduced, I'd report it as a bug here or to support.
