I noticed that some Win 32 applications have started using dark title bars (Adobe Acrobat DC Pro CC 2020). Is this technically feasible?
Since Microsoft does not provide a thorough dark mode for Win32 applications, I cannot ask Keyshot to provide this feature. But can the main window use a dark title bar to ensure a harmonious look in dark mode?
If you are on Windows 10, then KeyShot can use the colour chosen in your personalisation settings.
Just right-click on your desktop and choose "Personalise"
Then go to Colours
Pick a colour and under "Show the accent colour on the following surface" check "Title bars and window borders"
If you want it to seamlessly blend in to KeyShot's dark mode I suggest using the colour #212121 :)
This means that the black title bar also works under other white Win32 windows, which will bring a huge sense of fragmentation. In fact, Microsoft allows Win32 apps to use dark title bars-even if the title bar is not colored in personalization.
