Title: Looking for a solution for live-linking Inventor assemblies
Post by: mpraska on February 11, 2020, 06:49:21 AM
Has anyone found some type of workaround to live-link Inventor assemblies? The engineers here all use Inventor/Vault to create projects. My issue is that every time they make a change I have to start all over again in KeyShot after importing the assembly. I'm looking into saving the project as a Fusion 360 file and using the Fusion 360 plugin to open in KeyShot, so far not a lot of success...

I'm open to trying some convoluted process to get it to work in a live-linking scenario because these projects are quite complex and it can take days to process an update when it should only take minutes...

Thanks community for any assistance,
Mike

Does a sat file work for you?
