I designed and rendered a tent so I could use Will Gibbons magnific carbon fiber material. I also created a ripstop cloth (not RealCloth this time) based on his tutorial, applied as a translucent material to get that thin, lightweight cloth feel.
I'm trying to get a grasp of Marvelous Designer, so there are always good excuses to render things!
Anyway, I thought the high-res images looked nice enough, so here they are.
The materials look great. I tried building a tent in marvelous once and it was way harder then I expected. Built the skeleton in solidworks then the fabric part in marvelous. Kept having a hard time getting everything to connect to the structure and look right. Looks like you figured it out.
Did you also use the fuzz feature for the grass bits?
This is a great job!

Hey David, thanks heaps! I did use a slightly modified fuzz based grass material, the one that's already on the materials tab
Wow, too many stuff in one picture and oh those drooling carbon fibres...Nice work man!! ;D
I've said this before, but this brings together so many elements I like. Well-done!
Indeed, all the bits of this are fabulous! Great work, Nicolas!
That looks good, Nico! Especially the first shot!
