Where does the information regarding 'latest approved drivers' reside - I can never find it...

The KS driver recommendation is a few releases old... don't know if this is deliberate. Recommeds NVIDIA 441.66
This depends on bug reports that we see. The current driver from NVIDIA can cause textures to be missing in certain situations. This should be fixed in the next driver update.
