Title: Remove ends of cylinder label
Post by: Yabusa on April 19, 2020, 09:53:00 AM
Is there a way to remove the flat ends of a cylindrical label?
The can has a rounded bottom, so the label is covering the inside as well

Does splitting surface not work for you, where you can then just add a different material on the bottom?

Or add a separate surface in your modeling program and assign different material.

Use a color fade node as a clipping mask in the opacity channel of the label material. Or split the surfs.
