Title: Grouping/arranging material nodes
Post by: djnoone on May 31, 2020, 09:00:17 AM
Is there a way to arrange (group and move) linked material nodes without using auto-arrange function?

In cases of duplicating existing materials in multi-material mode the (group) of nodes overlap.
And when use auto arrange all connections scramble all over the place.
Using Ctrl+Click sometimes does not do the job, before moving (to many connections in some cases).

So is there a feature that can (pre)group node materials (like in Blender for example)?
Or select one node and follow to the others in easier manner?

Hello Djnoone,

This feature was requested and maybe available at some point soon. Totally valid workflow.

No, unfortunately there isn't a way to do this yet. I've made the same request and I'm not the only one. I would definitely start a thread in the 'Wish List' section to bring some more attention to it.
