Title: Jewelry Rendering
Post by: Andrew365 on June 30, 2020, 03:11:18 PM
I am working on a ring rendering for my website. The photo attached is the progress I have made so far. The one issue I am having is that there are so many diamonds on the front of the ring, that they look jumbled together as one diamond. Is there anything I can do to help fix this? Also, there needs to be more light reflection and sparkles in the diamond itself like the real-life picture. Any suggestions would help immensely.

A tip for rendering diamonds, you need contrast. Having a black/darker background behind your main frontal light works the best. Example below.
