Title: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Post by: jaimedc on October 28, 2011, 08:42:14 AM
I am interested in buying an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, but first wanted to know if this processor is good to work with Sotfware as: Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Keyshot and PhotoshopCS5.
In addition to graphics card is ideal for this processor.
Thanks in advance for the answers.

Is price an issue? Also does it need to be AMD? I'm assuming you already have your board for this? Personally if I was going to go with AMD I would get the new bulldozer. If you aren't stuck with AMD, I would absolutely recommend getting an i7 2600k. Both of these are going to run you around $300 though which is why I ask if price is an issue. Someone else might have some thoughts about the processor you have chosen though, just my two cents!

Yes, the price is a problem. The i7 2600K, costs $ 300 while the Phenom II X6 1100T $ 189. Although it is a good option, the new AMD FX.

Hi,

I compared i7-2600K, Phenom II X6-1090T, FX-6100(=6cores Bulldozer/Zambezi).
Unfortunately, AMD's new CPU, FX(Bulldozer/Zambezi) is not fast so much.

My approximation is: FX-8150@3.8GHz matches Phenom II X6@4GHz

This my article on my own BBS is useful for judging, I think:

...sorry in Japanese, but the screen-shot images say almost all.

Thanks,
kyosen
