Ive attached a video to show whats going to be broken details.
I want to animate the movement of the arm opening, but the problem is having the smaller cylinder in the middle to stay aligned with the pin hole during the movement, as well as having the cylinder extend out as it rotates. hopefully this explains what i am trying to accomplish.
I'm fairly new to keyshot animation and i dont use keyshots that often.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Some time ago I had an assembly that had similar motion and was told that KeyShot wasn't able to animate it and the motion would need to come from the modeling application.
What CAD/modeling program created the model? IF the CAD application has the ability to create a motion study or animation then that could be sent to KeyShot via the Plugin.
Thanks! i will see if i can make it work with the keyshot plug in on solidworks.
Yes, that's possible with Solidworks and its plugin. Just define a motion study and transfer this to KeyShot.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Marco
Is it possible to transfer animation from fusion 360 in the same way?
