I notice when you do live linking or even export to BIP the plugin does not take the "Cable Surfaces" which are set from cabling.
The only way to do this is export to STP and inside the Options, click "Cable Surfaces" which exports the cable geometry.
Just another little simple update which could be an option on the plugin if updated.
