Title: Global Illumination not working
Post by: damianh10 on September 11, 2020, 09:58:03 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am having some problems with Global Illumination when rendering.

Below are some screenshots of the file I'm working on. It's a cloudy plastic product with a blue part showing through.

The lighting set to "Product" but when I process the render with those settings it appears as if global illumination is not working.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Thanks!

P.S. I've also tried toggling the Global Illumination Cache and the Global Illumination amount... and all the other settings

Try to render using Max Samples instead of custom settings.  If you are looking to render an image that looks exactly like it does in the real time render view it is always good practice to use Max Samples.

Let me know if this change helps your Render.
