Title: Keyshot 10 - AR Emissive Material in USDZ
Post by: paulpossien on November 20, 2020, 01:09:32 PM
Opening the new USDZ file for AR - how do I make a surface stark white ( emissive ). I feel like I have tried every material type in keyshot to try and accomplish this but I haven't found one that works.

I know that USDZ supports this because I have been doing the same in sketchfab - and it supports emissive material maps too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Something that puzzles me. I used an emissive material make an object transparent and placed a label on it. And I was able to successfully generate a USDZ for that object. It obeyed the transparency and showed the label correctly. But now the exact same file doesn't work. I totally get that it isn't supported yet. But I'm super curious why it worked once. I don't think I have a question but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. This was the only USDZ emissive thread I could find so sorry if this is hijacking the thread. But I wanted to see if I could find others doing similar work.
