Title: rendering carbon look
Post by: dawatz on December 25, 2020, 03:38:18 AM
hi there

just finalising the rendering for my master thesis next week. I want to have this carbon look but some surfaces look quite different (see red markers) - any help on this?

If that is one part with a material assigned to it you may need to use the split surfaces too to break it up and then use the UV unwrap to assign the material in a more uniform fashion. If that's not clear, this may help: https://youtu.be/Oh4ibAlp9Q4
