Title: Perforated Material
Post by: Ginger121212 on November 10, 2011, 02:24:44 AM
I'm trying to render a perforated door, so some transparency required, with a mesh type pattern, anyone have a starting point? all attempts seem to block the transparency, or eliminate the mesh pattern..

We have a couple of mesh materials in the material library that comes with KeyShot 2. You will be able to use opacity maps with any material in KeyShot 3.

Thanks for the feed-back, presumably you can upgrade to Keyshot 3, as part of maintenance? When's Ketshot 3 being released?
