Title: Is it possible to add lights and change colors?
Post by: ken101 on December 27, 2020, 09:09:46 AM
[Directional Light]
[Spot Light]
I want to install the light wherever I like.

Next I want to change the color of the light.
I want to install lights such as red and blue.

The answer is yes to both. You can put lights anywhere you like and make them any color you need.

Thank you for your reply.

Is this how to add a light?

Pressing the light does not add it.

Is it possible to operate the light with a manipulator like a marmoset toolbag?
I don't see the lights and manipulators.

Where can I find a place to add a light?

My advice is to learn some basics. There are plenty of good tutorials found in the help menu.
Just drag the light from the library onto the sphere. To manipulate the sphere, use the move tool.
With KeyShot 10 you can insert a light object from menu > edit > add light (and the manipulator / move tool is active by default). Light colors and other properties can be defined within the light material.

Hope that helps

Thank you for your reply.

I understand that I need to convert an object to a light.

I solved it.
Thank you very much.
