Title: Dramatic Whiskey Glass Renders
Post by: shanespence on February 12, 2021, 03:41:25 AM
Here are some renders I did for the RenderFam discord's weekly prompt of a whiskey glass I modelled in Fusion.

The challenge was to model render a whiskey glass in black and white within 3 hours. I tried making the image more visually interesting by using a custom HDRI with some shaped lights, caustics and contrasting materials as there was no colour. I then also did some in colour but I think I actually prefer the black and white renders! Let me know what you think :)

Black and whites are nice. Caustics looks great.

Thanks very much, I think the caustics are what make the images, even if my computer disagrees haha.
