Title: KeyVR Beta 10.0.199: Precision, Measurement & Scaling
Post by: Jan Simon on March 09, 2021, 06:48:44 AM
Hi KeyVR users,

we are very close to the next major release of KeyVR, but decided to update our Beta to version 10.0.199 one last time today.

NOTE: If you are seeing an error during log-in ("invalid server response"), please download and install this new version manually from here: https://download.keyshot.com/keyshot10/beta/KeyVR_win64_10.0.199.exe (https://download.keyshot.com/keyshot10/beta/KeyVR_win64_10.0.199.exe)

Here's a quick overview of some major new KeyVR features included in this beta update:

- New tools: Precise Move Objects and Measure (precisely move objects on a grid, with optional snapping, and measure distances between points in the scene in VR)
- Scale slider (scale yourself up or down to experience your scene in a completely new way)
- Units and Snapping (adds precision to your actions in VR)
- Added preference for confining the VR user to the scene environment (no more accidental escapes :) )
- Added experimental XR mode toggle (can be used in combination with some XR headsets or NVIDIA CloudXR, to replace your scene's background environment with your real-life surroundings)

Have fun, and please feel welcome to leave feedback regarding the new functionality here in this thread. Thanks!
