Title: how do i do this correctly? Marble with gold streaks
Post by: powspows on March 09, 2021, 05:26:14 PM
So I am trying to fiddle around the multi material graph to do Kintsukuroi type material and this is what I came up with. Is there a better way to do this? it doesn't need to be the same color as the reference image.  thanks!

I would use a similar approach as you. But I would add a metal material with measured gold as a label. Instead of a texture for the marble texture, I would use black for the Color and white for the background. This would drive with a invert node between, the opacity of the metal label.

Sorry for the short form, I wrote on a mobile. But I hope that helps.
