Title: Keyshot 10.1 - issue with fade animation of deformable objects
Post by: Kuba Grabarczyk on April 29, 2021, 12:44:01 PM
Hello everyone,

Recently I encountered weird problem with objects imported via alembic type of file. Fade animation applied to the objects which are deformable (having orange color animation) are not working properly. Objects is flickering during animation or the fade is not working at all.

Can anyone from Keyshot team refer to that? I had very same problem across various projects, I believe this is some systematic problem with this type of objects.

Thank you,
Kuba

Instead of the fade animation, try using a curve fade animation node in the opacity of the material.

Ok, it worked but this is very time consuming work-around. Sometimes I need to fade out/in the same object multiple times across one animation and it needs very careful tweaking with the curve fade animation graph... Nevertheless thank you very much for your help,
