Title: Metals appear darker than they should
Post by: Jack55 on May 17, 2021, 06:19:43 AM
Hi there,

For some reason metal textured objects in my project are very dark in colour, almost black in some instances. Changing the colour, lighting and position of the objects only makes a very minor difference, and makes the rest of the project too bright. I was wondering if there was a setting I might have accidentally changed, or if anyone has encountered this issue before?

Jack

Hey Jack,

Do you have any fade animations in your scene? I ran into an issue where measured metals were showing up black when parts were faded out, not sure if you have a similar situation.

Hi Richard,
I got rid of a few animations I didn't realise I had, but that doesn't seem to have affected anything. Thanks for the tip though :)
