Title: Antialiasing quality in GPU rendering
Post by: Andrew_G on May 24, 2021, 04:32:51 AM
Hi,

I asked this question on Support forum, but my thread was deleted :( So here I am:

I wanted to ask, if there is any option for improve quality of the anti-aliasing when rendering on GPU. My question is mainly focused on Render Layers, as low AA quality is very visible there.

When I open rendered PSD file with some Render Layers, almost all of them have weird, jaggy edges. I tried all apha modes. I tried to defringe those layers in Photoshop, but those ugly edges are still there. I think that this is caused by low quality AA when rendering in GPU. While on CPU render I can increase AA quality, but there is no such option while GPU rendering.

Does anyone know, how this AA quality of the edges can be improved?

I`m using KS 9.2 btw:)
