Title: Procedural Raspberry Modeling and Rendering
Post by: Itai on February 28, 2022, 08:58:08 AM
Hi all

This is my first post in the forum! I'm very excited to share my work with you!
Recently I've started to learn Houdini and this is my first output from the software.
It's been challenging both to model & render the raspberry but I've learned a lot during the process.
I've used Entagma tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYIqDpnQrXI&t=617s) for modeling and of course KeyShot for rendering

Below are some still images and breakdowns, I'll be happy to hear your opinion about it.
Thanks for having a look.

P.s Animation is on the way

I'm going to have a better look at a raspberry next time I see one, I didn't know it had that much fluff on it!

I thought this topic is related to Raspberry Pie! But, It's not. The first image is nicely rendered. I wanna bite it!  :)

Haha, I will write the subject in capital letters next time.

And for the fluff thingy, from the reference photo I've used, it had A LOT!
