Title: how to edit saved material?

In KS3 I don't really see how you edit a material that you have saved. In KS2 you right click your material from your library and go to edit material. I don't see a way to load it, edit it, or even just double click it. Any tip for this?

You have to apply the material to an object in order to edit it.
