So I used this time to have a play around with the 3D paint feature inside Keyshot 11. I chose a simple STL model of Bobba Fett from my archives of random stuff. I knew I had to create the colour scheme from scratch and make the most of 3D paint to create small details. My aim was to go for a worn cast bronze material that had a painted enamel for the colour. It was a little difficult to get hold of at first but I trusted the tool to do the job and actually the renders came out pretty good!
OK, seeing that this sort of thing can actually be done in KS has me excited. Now I just need to clear out some time on my work schedule to play with this!
Wow. WOW. You totally nailed that, JimmyToTheB. Bobba be lookin' brassy.
