Title: Scene Settings used in Material Library Thumbnails
Post by: multitech on June 23, 2022, 06:54:14 AM
Hi Guys,

Is there a specific scene, lighting, or environment used for the material thumbnails?  I have a hard time with liquids and other transparent materials trying to match the thumbnail image.

I thought there use to be a Material Ball scene supplied with an older version of Keyshot.  I didn't see anything like that in the Keyshot 11 resource files.

If you right click on the thumbnail, and chose THUMBNAIL STYLE you can choose what geometry to use for the thumbnail

The thumbnail scenes are stored in the installation folder of KeyShot in the path bin. There you can change the environment that is used to render the thumbnails.
