Title: Import colour mapping to texture
Post by: Dave_b on December 20, 2011, 01:04:21 PM
Hi All

Is it possible to set the colours of surfaces in Proe then set up a standard texture mapping as the geometry is imported in to keyshot it sets the desired textures automatically.

Yes you can do that but you may have to re-apply the textures.

Hi Thomas

Thank you for the quick response. How do I crease the import map.

Hi Tomas

What I was looking for was the possibility to set colours in Proe then as it is imported into keyshot the colours are automatically assigned a texture. E.g

Rgb 256 256 0  map to material wood with bump map 1

This is something we are working on for KeyShot 3.1.
