I've just rerun this scene on my notebook.

fps sits around a measly 3.0 now  :o.
CPU-Z also tells me the CPU clock rate is just under 1GHz. I think it might be lowering its multiplier automatically to keep temps down. COuld be a dust bunny perhaps?

I did a rerun of the bench scene, because I noticed very poor performance in KeyShot. Rendering takes ages on 1GHz  ;D.
