Title: Trail camera
Post by: J.B. on May 07, 2010, 03:05:50 PM
Here is a couple of images of the trail camera I designed for a local company.

Using version 1.9.54

.bip file over 718 meg

Just under 3 minutes to load

Over 193 parts to the assembly. (some not visible in these two pictures)

I did use the instructions from forum member id355 to create some lighting effect and also lightartist for the one picture to "illuminate" the little led lights. (thanks to Shivani for that tip)

too bad the pictures are so small.

Super ... the only thing is that your model appears to be sticking through the ground plane. Right click on the part, select Move Object, and then select "SNAP TO GROUND".

I usually move an object up above the ground plane just a little bit, as the resulting extra shadow underneith really cleans things up and helps create an environment and space around the object.

Nice modeling, JB!
