Title: Moving pivot point
Post by: rossco on March 30, 2012, 12:58:51 AM
Hi.

I'm really struggling to get the pivot point moved the correct position to allow parts to move on the correct axis.  As far as I can see the only way to move the pivot point is to relate it to another part.  Is there a way to manually move a part's main axis so that it's centre of movement can be adjusted?

Thanks

Right now, you can't move the pivot point manually.

Has there been any development on this issue?

Hello
Please can you help me. I have just watched your tutorial on animation and I have a question.

I have created pivot geometry in my rhino model so I can rotate parts. This pivot points will be invisable

BUT if I move the pivot point and then try to use it again later my object does not pivot around the new location of my pivot point?

It seems to pivot around original location of my pivot point.

Many thanks
