Title: Keyshot as poster design tool
Post by: NormanHadley on May 04, 2012, 12:25:44 AM
So, I was asked to design a poster for an event. And I did what everyone else would have done - I fired up Word, listed the time and place (What, Where, When, Who....you know the drill), selected some funky fonts and looked at what I had wrought. And I thought "This is utterly uninspiring - I would walk straight past this on a notice-board".

So then I had another go with Keyshot. Loads more fun. The logo was done with KS, too. That was an unusual challenge, conveying the idea of a post-oil future in graphical form. And an unusual redendering challenge because my initial attempts were way too glossy and 3D - it only started to work once I chose "flat" materials.
