Title: I wonder if it is possible to assign a complete animation project a new 3D scene
Post by: fario on November 14, 2012, 12:37:43 AM
hello,

I wonder if it is possible to assign a complete animation project a new 3D scene imported.

example:

I created a complex Animation1 for a draft Lamp1.
I change the design of my Lamp1.
I would like to import this new Lamp2 in Keyshot and paste all Animation1 on this new model Lamp2.

We gain a lot of time.

Often in my case, repeat the same type of animation. I wish I could get that animation and sticking to my new scene easily.

Thanks.

I don't have animation yet in my KS, but I can imagine that the day I do .. this will be one of my concerns as well !

In KeyShot 4 you will be able to "retain all", i.e. all materials, animations and transformations will be maintained if the design is updated.
