Title: information disappears, bip file
Post by: Robert V. on June 20, 2010, 01:32:27 AM
Hi all,

I have the following problem: When I save my scene (model, environment, backplate, bumpmaps, etc) there is no problem yet.
However, when I try to open it, all but the models are gone... so no environment, backplate, bumpmaps, ect.

The strange thing is, that when I open the file using this method: "Open recent" all the elements of the scene are not gone.

In the end, the problem is, that when I want to copy my bip file to another pc to render, the environment, backplate, bumpmaps, etc. are gone.

Make the real time render window smaller. Then it comes back.

doesn't work, sadly...

The camera view point has changed as well, forgot to mention that.

I am a bit confused. Are you talking about the bip file and the fact that you don't have the environment etc when you take it to another computer?

Thomas,

yes, it's about the bip file. When I reopen the bip file (on the same pc or another) all information is gone, only the model stayed (completely grey)
When I choose "open recent" the bip file does have all the information.

Are you importing the bip file by any chance?
