Is it possible to animate liquid moving from a nozzle to a container such as a fuel pump to a fuel tank?
I can't think of a way to do it and appreciate that may not be possible but any help on this would be great.

I've had the same challenge. I ultimately used Adobe After Effects to create the effect of liquid flowing in post production. There's lots of tutorials on "After Effects Liquid." Good luck!
Try to use Photoshop so that it could give an good effort to the animation.
Not sure how you have the model built, but you could create objects representing the liquid at different levels and then do overlapping fade animations to show the change in levels over time.
Otherwise AfterEffects would be the best bet to get a smooth animation.
