Title: Outside Shading
Post by: Mr Sheen on February 04, 2013, 10:43:21 AM
I'm new to this so be gentle.

I've had KeyShot Ver 3 for a week now, created a 11 minute animation, views sorted and now need to create realistic shadowing.

Sorry if this has been asked before but any help would be appriciated.

Hi Mr Sheen,

Where's the problem exactly - Are you after a harder shadow on the ground surface?

Hi Chad,

Yes I'm after harder, I've played with PINS and that doesn't seem to work.

Cheers
Andy

Thanks for that, worked a treat.

I tried the "hdri-locations_urban_4k" environment which is what I was after, but the scenery wasn't applicable.

I modified the Iceland environment, not as good but it will do.

Thanks, Andy
