Title: Whats the best size for Rhino models
Post by: Ballista on June 28, 2010, 05:07:29 PM
All the models I render in Keyshot, I create in, or import into Rhino, is there an optimum model size?
Most of the parts I render are quite small (some are less than 50mm long) and all I've done upto now is to set the mesh settings in Rhino to create plenty of polygons in Keyshot, usually 500,000 or so.
Would there be any advantage to scaling up my models in Rhino or Keyshot.

Size (mm, cm, m) doesn't matter. But certainly, the more polygons you can create the better.

Hi,
Can someone tell some good mesh settings for Rhino to clear the jagged edges but not create a crash due to file size.

Thanks

Rich

These are the mesh settings I typically use.
