Title: Diamond Rendering Help
Post by: diamond on February 18, 2013, 08:16:16 AM
Can someone please explain how Internal Culling works on diamond renders. I do not see any results when I enable it. What is it sappose to do?

If you have the shanks intersection with the diamond geometry, KeyShot will ignore the extra geometry when "internal culling" is checked, and treat it like it was properly modeled.

Ok, Ive always make sure that my geometry is not touching my diamonds, so that probably why I did mot see any improvement. Thank you.

Correct - then of course it wouldn't have any effect.
